Paul Pelosi, husband of the Democratic leader of the House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi, is hospitalized after suffering a "violent attack" by an assailant who broke into his home in San Francisco on Friday morning, according to a spokesman. from Congresswoman Drew Hammill, who indicated that she was not in town at the time of the incident.
The assailant is in custody and the motive for the attack is being investigated," according to Hammill, and Pelosi is expected to recover after receiving "excellent medical care" at a California hospital.
